Overview

- Total cost : KRW 700 million
- Eligibility : Faculty startups (business registration certificate issued within 2022.06.20-2024.02.29 and approved by Startup KAIST, and prospective faculty entrepreneurs who expect to obtain business registration certificates within the project period)
- Support details : Support throughout all stages of entrepreneurship, including discovery of promising business ideas for prospective entrepreneurs, startup education support, idea validation, prototype production, and investment attraction, aiming for successful technological entrepreneurship and early establishment of businesses
Project details
- Prototype production support for KAIST faculty startups (KRW 2 million per case, up to 24 projects)
- Startup education by KAIST ILP Faculty Group
- Startup advisory activities of VC CEOs (linked with DCM)
- Organization of joint events between KAIST student entrepreneurs and VCs
Project VISION
- Practical support for entrepreneurship in prototype creation and testing certification fees
- Contributing to national technological independence through fostering startups in materials, components, and equipment
- Producing unicorn companies in Daedeok area by discovering startup teams for the KAIST Innopolis Campus Project
- Entrepreneurial expansion through KAIST’s technology transfers within Daedeok Innopolis
